Rochester has a number of well preserved neighborhoods and you can get a feel of olden day's city life when you travel through these neighborhoods. Rochester has a mix of whites, blacks and non Hispanic whites and blacks that make up the major percentage of the population. There are some other races that live in Rochester as well. Rochester has some fine educational institutions which include colleges and universities. University of Rochester is ranked as the 35th best university in the country.
